Blonde to Dimensional Brunette
This is a color transformation from many years ago when I worked in Texas. Client had come in with all blonde ends wanting to go closer to their natural color to ease with maintenance and grow-out but also wanting to keep their color dimensional and not just one brown tone all over.
While I do not have the exact formulas for this color I do remember using multiple color shades to achieve the look.
One lowlight of a level 7/8 pulled from root to end, slightly shifting the natural shade and adding color to the bleached ends. This shift on the natural hair helps to soften the difference in dark new growth and lighter ends.
The other lowlight was a mixture of two shades, a level 5 for the roots and level 7 for the ends, mixing the two in the middle to make the perfect blend.
To complete the color we did a gloss to add enhance our shade choice, seal and lock in all the new color and provide ultimate shine.
